Dragon Boating is an exciting and fast growing water sport, unlike many other sports, it is open to all abilities and ages over 12.
In the boat you will be sitting next to another person that will show you the ropes, amongst 21 other paddlers which includes a sweep to steer the boat & a drummer that keeps time in a race. It is a great team sport, you can be any age, any level of fitness and requires no initial skill. Teams are made up of mixed, women and men.

What you need to do

What you need to do
Step 1Let us know that you are coming by contacting us to secure a spot in the boat.
Sessions run for approx. 1 hour. |
Step 2Before stepping in the boat you must read, complete & sign a waiver form.

Step 3Meet us at the Car Pool spot 30 mins prior to the meet
OR meet us at Malpas Dam |
Step 4Bring:
- water - sunscreen - sunglasses - signed waiver form (can download from here or complete at the Dam) |
Step 5Wear:
- clothes that you don't mind getting wet - clothing that dries quickly, boardies, leggings - hat that won't blow off - raingear if it is wet - towel & change of clothes - bare feet or supportive reef shoes |
